About Me

About Nicola Harper

I’m Nicola Harper (née Haswell)an operational support specialist and ADHD-informed coach helping people create ways of working that actually work for humans. Based in North Devon, I support charities, founders, churches and neurodivergent professionals across the UK.

With over 30 years of experience, I’ve worked across the private, public, and third sectors in roles covering operations, HR, and sales. I’ve also taught hundreds of apprentices in Marketing, Business Administration, Team Leading, and HR. This has given me a strong understanding of how different businesses work, and how easily day-to-day admin can take over.

Let's chat
woman holding sign "I don't do chaos, I do clarity (and strong coffee)" at a desk with CEO of Getting Stuff Done sign on it.

I’ve always been the sort of person who likes making things work better.

Whether that’s organising the behind-the-scenes bits of a business, spotting something that’s about to fall through the cracks, or helping someone who’s feeling completely overwhelmed, I genuinely love untangling a good pickle.

Over the years I’ve worked across the private, public and third sectors in operations, HR, sales and education. I’ve taught apprentices, supported charities, worked alongside founders and helped organisations juggle all the moving parts that come with doing meaningful work.

The job titles have changed over the years, but the heart of what I do hasn’t.

I help people who are carrying too much.

For some clients, that means stepping in as their operational right hand woman, keeping projects moving, sorting systems, chasing actions and making sure nothing important gets forgotten.

For others, it’s ADHD-informed coaching, accountability and helping them find ways of working that fit their brain, instead of constantly fighting against it.

I don’t think anyone does their best work when they’re overwhelmed.

And I don’t think you should have to figure everything out on your own.

I love helping people get things out of their heads, into a plan, and moving again. Sometimes all it takes is another pair of hands. Sometimes it’s another perspective or me saying, “Let’s tackle this together.”

We’ll work out a way through this pickle!

If, by the end of working together, things feel calmer, lighter and a little less overwhelming than when we started, then I’ve done my job.

Whatever the pickle, we’ll work it out together.
